Push · live demo on your phone

Push notifications without the native app build.

Six channels by default. Opt-in per channel. Works on the modern phones in your audience via service workers. No app-store review, no install friction. Web push reaches roughly 92 percent of attendee phones today.

Demo mode. The “Send a test push” button uses the browser Notification API to fire a notification on this device only. Production replaces this with a service-worker subscription that receives broadcasts from the conference admin via the Web Push protocol.

Browser notification permission has not been granted yet. The demo cannot fire a push without it.

Six channels by default

What attendees actually want pushed.

Default subscriptions are the universally useful ones. Promotional channels are off by default. Attendees toggle each one in the preferences screen, not in a hostile permissions wall.

01

WiFi password

One push at the venue arrival window. The most-asked question of the conference, solved in one notification.

02

Agenda changes

Room change to a popular session pushes silently to anyone who favorited it.

03

Lunch-line tracker

Live wait times by station so trustees route themselves to the shorter line.

04

Lost-and-found

One-tap report from an attendee. Push fires to event staff. Match-found push when it surfaces.

05

Session reminders

Ten-minute warning on favorited sessions, with the room and a walking time from the attendee's current location.

06

Sponsor offers

Opt-in only. Capped at one per sponsor per day. Goodwill-positive, not goodwill-negative.

How it works

Standard Web Push, no app-store gate.

  • Service-worker subscription. The page registers a service worker that listens for push events from the Simpli-FI Events server.
  • VAPID keys. Voluntary Application Server Identification key pair, generated once per tenant. Public key shipped to the browser, private key stays on the server.
  • Subscription storage. Each browser’s push endpoint and channel preferences live in Supabase, scoped to the tenant.
  • Admin broadcast. The conference operations team triggers a push from the admin portal. A serverless function fans out to subscribed devices via the Web Push protocol.
  • Channel discipline. Six categories with attendee toggles. Default subscriptions are universally useful. Promotional pushes capped at one per sponsor per day.

Want this for your conference?

Push is included in the Conference Bundle ($9,995 per event). Read the TLFFRA Field Guide case study to see what we shipped in two weeks of build, or tell us about your event and we will scope a pilot within 24 hours.
